President Mohammadu Buhari addresses Nigerians
President Mohammadu Buhari in a live broadcast today addresses Nigerians stating that the unity of the country can not negotiated. He went further to say that Nigerians has the right to settle and carry out their business in any part of the country. We must not allow group to divide the unity of good people of Nigeria.
He added that this process will only lead to killing and distraction of properties.
He also said the every group has the right to air their grievances and that democracy is all about the people and the government will do all it can to answer their call.
He talked about his encounter with chief Odumegwu Ojukwu back in 2003, and when he visited his home discussing about the problems in the country and agreed that the best way is to remain united as a country.
He charged the security agencies to put in more effort to ensure the peace and stability of the nation and charge criminals and any unwanted act by any group.
