Buhari, Saraki, Sambo and others pray inside Aso Rock as Nigeria turns 57
On Friday the 29th, President Mohammadu Buhari with dignitaries led a special prayer to commemorates the nations 57th independence Anniversaries in a Juma'at Srvice .
the service whichi was held inside the Aso Rock near the presidential village in Abuja. the president who joined by Senate president Bukioa Saraki, former vice president Namadi Sambo and others.
Other prominent Ministers was said to be in attendance with the chief of the Army staff and inspector General of Police.
After the prayers the senate president in a statement told the state house that the nation has achieved a lot in the past years and he urged Nigerians to continue to pray for the growth and development of the country.
he also stated that a lot of countries has been tested from different problems but the most important thing for us now is to celebrate our achievement for the past years.
The president who is expected to deliver a nationwide speech at the dawn of the October 1st as part of marking the independence day celebration.
Vice president Yemi Osinbajo is also expected to lead top government officials in a church to mark the celebration as well as praying for peace and unity of the country.
