Cholera Outbreak kills 48 in Borno State
A Humanitarian organisation, me'decins Sans Frontieres (MSF) reported that about 48 people have died of cholera in the state.
Recently the state health ministry have recorded that over 2000 cases of the of the disease was diagnosed. The medical coordinator of MSF Anna Cilliers said that the organisation is putting more effort to control the Outbreak across the state.
Early detection and treatment would be a vital step to tackle the Outbreak. Since the increase of the Outbreak in the state capital the MSF organisation has set up a treatment centre with enough facilities to contain the number of patients they have and more.
