THE VICTIM
Message to Nigerians and the whole world
This book is based on fiction, it shows how violent act can destroy lives and future of people especially children who are known to be the leaders of tomorrow.
It was the day I was going out with my mother, reaching
Ilasa Bridge I saw some young boys and girls begging for alms. Out of
curiosity, I asked my mum, “What are they doing here”? Why are they
begging? I asked those questions because they are very tender.
Nonetheless, this book is telling us about the happenings
in our society today. It is all about two families, the family of Samuel
and the family of Olivia.
Samuel had wonderful parents that cared for him
so much. Samuel parents died on their way to work; in Nyanya
bomb – blast their death left Samuel to wonder about.
Olivia lost her own parents as a result of fight
between both parents. Her mother was jailed for murdering her husband.
Olivia and her brother were left under the care of a relative who maltreated
them to their bone marrow, until Olivia ran out of the house for fear
of unknown.
Coincidentally, Olivia and Samuel met and their meeting
worsen their life, if not for the intervention of a noble man who adopted
them.
