3 killed and 14 others injured in Gombe truck Accident

More than three men and women were on Friday reportedly overwhelmed to death after a truck failed breaks crashing into the busy Central Roundabout, in Gombe State.

An eyewitness account has it that the driver of the truck, who changed into conveying cement, lost manage and became the busy pavement, crushing one motorcyclist, his passenger and a sugarcane vendor.

The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Obed Mary Mallum showed the incident.

Mallum, however, said most effective one person died from the accident.

The PPRO also said that 14 others were injured, with four other vehicles damaged.

“The driver of the truck has been arrested and is presently being detained,” Mallum stated.
