EFCC questions David Mark for allegedly stealing billions as Senate President

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), yesterday quizzed former Senate President, David Mark for allegedly stealing billions of naira, along other leaders of the National Assembly throughout his tenure.

It was reported  that Mark, a former navy wellknown was invited to make statements to the commission on how numerous billions supposed for tasks on the countrywide assembly had been allegedly shared between him and a few others.

He was released to move domestic after the interrogation, predicted to go back after the holidays.

Reacting to the development, Comrade James Oche of Door to Door, Mark’s marketing campaign enterprise, defined the invitation as witchunt.
He said, “Look on the list – Sule Lamido, Atiku, now David Mark. The President ought to cope with insecurity and enormous failings and no longer try to bully folks that need to get into the hoop with him. What is he scared of, even Mugabe invited and conventional opponents.
“It’s been two years considering David Mark misplaced the Presidency of the senate, why has it taken 2yrs for Buhari to analyze him, this was the number 3 guy.

“My conclusion- ‘any other conventional Buhari mainly brewed Daura witchhunt.’ And clearly it’s a disgrace – and honestly people can not wait to get Buhari kicked out in 2019. We didn’t vote for a military democratic dictatorship.”
