Four killed, several injured in Borno suicide Bombing

At least four human beings were mentioned dead and several injured in a suicide bomb attack on Thursday at Amarwa network of Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State.

It became accumulated that the incident befell at about 2 p.M. Whilst a male suicide bomber infiltrated the village and detonated an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) strapped to his body.
An eye witness, identified as Bukar Fantai, instructed newsmen that the bomber sneaked into the village disguised as a grain service provider.

Fantai said that the insurgent first approached a shop keeper and provided sorghum on the market thereafter, went to a coloration where many villagers gathered for rest and detonated the explosive.

“The suicide bomber detonated the IED, blew up himself, killing some, whilst 13 others sustained injuries in the explosion,” he said.

A source showed the attack to NAN, saying that the wounded humans have been stated the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH) for remedy.

The supply stated that Police EOD and patrol groups were deployed to sanitise the scene of the assault, including that normalcy had been restored to the area.

Police and military authorities haven't begun to comment on the incident.
