Breaking:Police discovers child trafficking camp in Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command says it has exposed an apartment in Ejigbo vicinity of Lagos, suspected to be used as transit camp for child trafficking.

Six youngsters, aged between 3 and 10, were found inside the one-room condo. The custodian of the children, one Comfort Awanaesan, changed into also apprehended inside the process.

Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, Imohimi Edgal stormed the apartment, Tuesday night, in the organisation of some senior police officers and officers of the Gender Unit of the command and others from the Ministry of Youths and Social Services.

“My eldest sister’s place of work is some distance, so she leaves them in my care and tests on them from time to time.

“I am a settlement group of workers at a beverage employer and from my income I buy meals stuff in bulk for them. I also feed them with different allocations from the office. I rented this apartment but there are plans of entering into a -bedroom apartment quickly.”

Asked why the youngsters had been now not in their dad and mom’ homes and the way she manages to care for them at the same time as working at the same time, she stated: “I run shift.
