Two arrested over theft of Mr. Ibu’s house

Two members of the theft gang that stormed the Festac home of Nollywood star, John Okafor, popularly called man. Ibu, weekend, have been arrested.

It was gathered the robbers had invaded the house while the actor was away. They met his wife who they ordered to show them where money and other valuables were kept.

“According to my wife, the operation started at about 3am and lasted until about 4:25am this morning after which they left with all my property and money,” Mr. Okafor said on Saturday.

He said the robbers carted away over N14m and other valuables.

Lagos State Police publicity Officer, Superintendent Chike Oti, who confirmed the arrest, said the suspects had been transferred to the Special Anti-Robbery, SARS, for more investigation.
